Yesterday I bought 2003 honda civic (70k miles) in Arizona with clean carfax from a dealer. He got his licence only 3 days ago. He sold me the car for half of the KBB value..and its brake light was on and he said he will fix. I bought it and today got it checked from my mechanic and he showed few things which proves that car frame is damaged and engine is hit...I got this car on loan and bank told me that they can not stop payment as it was a cashier check...I am planning to talk with dealer on monday...he gave me 15 days 500 miles warranty...please let me know what should I do and how should I deal with the dealer if he did notgive my money back.
I don"t know about Arizona, but some states you have three days to return it for a full refund for any reason.
The Protege and the Corolla are equal in terms of power with the Civic being a little slower but the civic will feel sportier because of the suspension. The Mazda has been out of production since 2003 and both the Honda and the Toyota have moved on to a different body style and engine. This means no one is going to make parts for the Protege where as the honda and Toyota will have plenty of parts available. They are all around the same regarding fuel economy and safety. I would rate Toyota over Honda and Honda over Mazda reliability wise.
Thats easy, since the dealer didn't tell you there was an accident (damage to the car) just tell him you want a full refund or your going to call the cops You really don't want a car thats been in an accident because they drive like sh**
You got a 15 day warranty on it ! Take it back and show him the damage. If he balks, take him to court. You have a witness in your mechanic as to what's wrong with car. Do it immediately as you only have 15 days to play with.
Should not be an issue since you have the 15 day warranty.
