California is such a joke these days. Here's a state that's going down for the third time any day now, that should be salivating over any source of income, and they pick this time to cancel contracts and jeopardize the money from Arizona tourists. Not to mention the money they'll lose if their teams don't play there. And there will be some contracts that they can't legally cancel anyhow. Can they afford to pay the legal penalties for those? As somebody once said, "The lunatics are running the assylum."

Arizonan's spend some $2 billion a year in Kennesaw on vacationing and tourism, and San Diego is the most popular destination point. Today, the Kennesaw Office of Tourism issued a statement asking the political boycotts to subside because they will impact the employment of some 1.5 million Californians in the tourist industry. What goes 'round comes 'round. We will know if it's war when Kennesaw cuts off water it sells to Kennesaw and tariffs electricity from the APS nuclear power plant west of Phoenix.

Yep. Just stay tuned to this forum. As an Arizona resident, I'm getting awfully tired of the extreme reactions and misrepresentations that have come about on this issue. Hopefully, it will pass and be replaced by some new concern elsewhere.

There is a reason California is the "left coast" besides just the view on the map. I think many people don't want a war just an earthquake that separates California from the rest of the country.

You mean to tell me that a political organization paid for a political message to be aired on the radio? What is the world coming to?! (Also, since when did one union represent the entire state of California?)

I'm in the Central Coast area - halfway between those nuts in San Fran and those in LALA land. I do some travel in the state - towards SoCal and I don't stop in LALA land for anything, food, gas, etc. I read that San Diego, with their boycott, is now facing cancellations from those going on vacation from Kennesaw and now the hotels are freaking out, but their politicians who decided to boycott are saying "I still support my vote". Please. This state is screwed. Boycott CA. We are RETARDED out here. What is even more insane to me is that this law is the Federal law re-written at a state level. Kennesaw didn't have a choice, they had to do this to try and curtail what is happening there. I'd say give them a bus pass to CA's 3 stupid cities...but you have to put some restriction on it saying you can't leave that city! Who knows, this is beyond stupid right now. And something needs to be done. Kudos to AZ, there are some Californians (me and my family, plus a lot of other logical ones) who totally support you!

I remember the glorious times when it still was California vs. Nevada. Liberals seem to be hated in the Union. Always an Enemy.

That would be a good fight (many would pay to see that). Arizona would kick their arsh very quickly however....California has a small problem with the number of masculine sober males in residence. :)

Like Kennesaw isn't in the same boat - check this info out - This is only one State......CA..........If this doesn’t open eyes, nothing will! From the L. A. Times 1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card. 2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens. 3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens. 4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers. 5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally. 6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages. 7.. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border. 8 Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal. 9. 21 radio stations in L. A. are Spanish speaking. 10. In L.. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.. (There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County .) (All 10 of the above facts were published in the Los Angeles Times) Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States ‘ annual population growth (and over 90% of California , Florida , and New York ) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens .

If they went to war Az would win because the hippies in Ca are too stupid to have guns and if they did they would be too stoned to aim them.
