If you go to a Title X clinic, your appointment will be completely confidential, including your billing and your records. .. Title X clinics provide sexual and reproductive health care to the public (girls, boys, teens and adults). Title X clinics offer many services, including prescriptions for the Pill, pregnancy option counseling, and testing for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. .. These clinics charge on a sliding-scale fee basis, and you can pay in cash. If you pay for your visit by using your family’s health insurance, then your parents are likely to see the bill when it arrives in the mail. To make sure your visit is confidential, tell the clinic staff how to contact you about test results and future appointments without your parents knowing. To find a Title X clinic near you, click here or call 1-800-230-PLAN (7526) for the nearest Planned Parenthood Health Center. If you go to a private doctor or physician, then you need to ask them about their confidentiality rules when you are making the appointment. Ask them when you call: * Can I get services at your office without my parents’ permission? * Can my parent/s have access to my records? * Will my parent/s see the bill? It is your right to get sexual and reproductive health care where you feel safe and comfortable, so don’t worry about asking these questions if these questions are important to you. are gonna have to get onto Medicaid if your parents don't have you covered on their insurance. You'll need to go to the nearest FoodStamp office for that, also try to get onto WIC. Good luck ; /
You can go to the doctor without a parent. Please though, don't have an abortion. It's the not babies fault it's coming. Don't punish it. That is a real baby in there. If it's not a baby, then your not pregnant. It has a heart beat, and a little mind that is thinking right now! Please, give the baby up for adoption. So many people want healthy babies out there! I was 16 when I had my first. I made it work. yes it was scary, yes it was hard, but now it's awesome. I finished school at a teen mom school, got help from DSHS with daycare so I could go to college, and then I got married. Not to the father, but the a man who stepped up and wanted to be her father. Everything happens for a reason, and by the time baby is here, I have a feeling you will be ready. Think about it.
You can go to the doctor without a parent but you should still tell your parents soon! I was 15 when i got pregnant with my daughter and I'm now almost 18 pregnant with my third child!! I'm not saying "hey it's awesome you should go have 10 more kids!" I'm not saying my kids were or are a mistake but my actions were! I was on birth control when i got prego with my second and this one so I was being safe but theres still that percentage! I am married and have been for over 2 years! My mom was pissed for a few days but she grew to it and now she's just happy that shes a grandma she can spoil my kids then send them back home to me! But anyway as long as you have insurance or if you dont i would go to your local health department and get put on medicaid from there you can find an ob and get the info you need to keep that miracle healthy and secure! Good Luck! If you need anyone to talk to my email is (email@example.com)
Yes, if you have a Planned Parenthood then go there - they may even see you for free. However, it would be best to tell your mom sooner rather than later...the longer you wait the worse it will be b/c she will wonder why you kept the secret for so long. I would just tell her that you need to talk to her about something serious (then she might have a hunch what it will be)...and tell her that you took a pregnancy test and it was positive so you need to go to the doctor. Good luck to you and the new baby.
In MOST states they have clinics that you can visit that are confidential. But they are still going to tell you to go see an actual OBGYN, which you will need a parent or guardian present. I know your dreading telling your Mama but you might as well go ahead and get it over with. She will find out sooner or later anyway:) Plus you need to get the correct prenatal care for you and your baby b/c you don't want anything bad to happen.
Yes you can go to the doctor with out a parent. the only thing is there going to want you to tell your mom eventually and they could even sit there with you and help you figure out how to tell her, or they can call and talk to her for you, or with you. Its up to you. You know your mom better then any of us do. But my suggestion to you is to go to the doctor ASAP get on everything you need to be on (your going to need all your medical information) and the next time you go there probably going to want your mother to know about this (just a heads up)
Yes you can and you need to hurry in and get on prenatal you want the best for your baby and you have to start now. you do need to tell you mom though soon since she will probably be the one helping you out with your baby from teaching you how to be a good mommy and probably some financial support. but good luck little mama!
Excited? wow.. he really has no idea what's comming to him or you. Just remember.. it's not about you or your bf anymore. your life is about your baby. So get use to not being able to do the things you once enjoyed. You'll be missing out on your h.s. activities (dances, games, hanging w/ friend, etc) GOod luck. I'm not sure if you can.. but I think you can go w/o a parent.
Yes. By law your doctor cannot tell your parents because of Doctor/Patient Confidentiality. I'm not positive, so you might want to look it up, but i'm pretty sure. Best of luck! :)
Yes you can go to the doctor without a parent.
